Penn Arts Ambassadors is a program of University Life Arts Initiatives.
Members of the Penn Arts Ambassadors program have been selected as enthusiastic, energetic and outgoing students who are part of a college house, other living community (fraternity or sorority house) or other major umbrella organization with an interest in the arts.
Arts Ambassadors are volunteers who serve as a resource for arts opportunities on campus and in Philadelphia. They help to promote arts events and activities, and have a small programming budget to organize events or field trips for their fellow students. They attend monthly training and brainstorming meetings and collaborate with other Arts Ambassadors to plan exciting arts related events and activities for the University of Pennsylvania Community.
Arts Ambassadors are committed to building awareness, appreciation for and participation in the arts and culture community at Penn and Philadelphia. Art Ambassadors have been involved with the planning and implementation of campus art programs including the Arts & Culture Fair, Arts and Culture at Homecoming, Campus Art Crawls and more. They serve as a liaison for disseminating arts and culture program information to the community at large.
